Title Do I need to have TESL or TEFL certification to teach English?
ÀÛ¼ºÀÏ 2009-05-23
No. Teaching jobs in most private language institutes abroad do not require CELTA, TEFL, TESL or TESOL certification. Certification may be required if you want to teach in a high school, university or government institution.

Many companies will try to give you the impression that if you take their training, you can get English teaching jobs in Korea. The fact is, even without their training, you can get jobs in Korea if you meet the requirements of education and nationality.
